Stolen Car, Fire Reported In Warren Over Weekend

A Warren resident also reported someone tried to defraud them out of about $30,000, according to the police blotter.

WARREN, NJ — A stolen car, fire and fraud were reported recently in Warren, according to the police blotter.

On Friday, April 16 at 6:56 p.m., a Puddingstone Way resident reported an incident of fraud. Someone tried to defraud the victim of about $30,000.

On Sunday, April 18 at 2:01 p.m.,Warren police, fire and Atlantic EMS went to a house fire on Sugarwood Way. The fire was contained to the kitchen area.

On Sunday, April 18 at 3:55 p.m., a High Oaks Drive resident reported their 2015 Audi A7 was stolen from their driveway. The resident said they saw an unknown person "wearing a hoodie" get out of a white Infiniti then drive off in their vehicle.The car was later recovered in Newark.
