Summer is fun at Warren Township Schools Summer Fun '17
There are still courses available to register for, like 'Discover Science', 'Cooks with Books', 'Computer Graphics and Design', and more.

From Warren Township Schools: Summer Fun 2017 is in full swing in Warren Township Schools! With such course offerings as “Discover Science,” “Cooks with Books,” “Computer Graphics and Design,” and “School of Rock,” the K-8 summer camp offered by the Warren Township School District is always a popular place to be.

“Our amazing program is bigger and better than ever,” says Summer Fun principal Meryl Lettire. “We have over 350 participants enrolled so far and we’re still growing. So many exciting things have been going on in our first week… from rocket launches, dance, music and acting performances to whacky dodgeball games and science experiments.”

Lettire says she is proud to oversee the program “where our students get to pick and choose from 24 different classes run by certified teachers.”

“This year, we successfully launched our online registration process which has made signing up so much easier than ever before,” she adds. “At Summer Fun 2017, our campers get to change their schedules every week and try all of our classes which I think makes our program truly one of a kind.”

Summer Fun offers enrichment activities, remedial classes and extended/aftercare services for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. The program opened its doors on June 26 and continues through July 28.
