Support Autism Families Today with #GivingTuesdayNow
Help Children and Adults with Autism Get the Care They Need

Today we are uniting with all Americans to participate in #GivingTuesdayNow in support of those most impacted by the global COVID-19 health crisis and the economic fallout.
Families living with the struggles of autism are facing extraordinary challenges during this pandemic. This is what we've learned from our families:
- Parents are struggling to homeschool their autistic children who typically receive intensive support from a team of professionals who work daily with them so they can reach therapeutic, behavioral, and educational goals.
- Single parents of children with autism may not be able to leave the house to get food and medication if their child is medically complex because they could be more vulnerable to COVID-19.
- People with autism with certain co-occuring illnesses are at greater risk of severe illness and even death from COVID-19.
- Individuals with medically complex autism may not have access to the specialists they need to treat their medical complexities during this shut down.
- People with autism living in nursing homes or group homes are inherently at greater risk as they cannot socially distance themselves from caregivers or self-isolate.
The Autism Healthcare Collaborative continues to support families during this pandemic and always. Our programs are designed to facilitate the medical and psychosocial stabilization of families and to provide clinical support to families and their physicians.
Because I know you care about families with autism I’m asking you to make a gift today that will ensure children and adults with autism across the US will have access to our medical experts and our programs.
Your generosity during this difficult time will be most appreciated and will have an immediate impact on individuals and families living with the challenges of autism.
Can they count on your gift today?
Stay safe. Stay healthy.
