Warren Bakers Rise Up Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
"Cake can't solve all your problems but can solve some." Sweet Passion Cakery is offering smaller celebration cakes amid the coronavirus.

WARREN, NJ — Two stay-at-home moms, bakers and owners of Sweet Passion Cakery from Warren are doing their best to keep their business going and continue baking up cakes during the new coronavirus outbreak.
"We are doing OK," Gail Kingman of Warren said of her business. Kingman runs the business with Lauren Vicari of Florham Park. They appeared on Food Network last May. "All wedding cakes and large celebration cakes have been postponed which is sad because we are heading into wedding season."
Kingman is very familiar with the disappointment of postponing celebrations as her 40th birthday is in a week and a half. To try and bring joy to those who have an upcoming celebration, she is offering smaller cakes to enjoy at home.

Kingman assured customers her products are safe during the outbreak.
"It is only me and Lauren in this business and we are uniquely designed as I have a commercial kitchen attached to my home," Kingman said. "We are quarantined here and are not going out. This is a safe environment."
Delivery is free to Warren residents and a small fee for the surrounding area.
Kingman is also sharing a recipe story video everyday to share recipes locals can do with their kids at home. Check out the videos at facebook.com/sweetpassioncakery or instagram.com/sweetpassioncakery.
Looking forward, Kingman told customers to look out for a launch of their new website and a rebranding of their business.
"We hope after all of this is over we can come out of this scary time with a 'Look what we have been working on!' " Kingman said.
