"It felt amazing to win especially when you put so much hard work, so much energy, so much stress, and so many logistics into it," Kingman said. "And it was incredible to win $10,000 and bragging rights!"
Kingman and Vicari noted how nice it was to work with the other teams and the camaraderie involved.

"At one point, a team asked for help because they couldn't lift their cake topper and Lauren literally got up on a table to lift their cake up," Kingman said.
"We wanted everyone to do their best," Vicari said.
On the episode there are four teams of two cake-makers that are challenged to make an over-the-top, candy-themed cake decoration for VIP clients, the founders of gourmet candy company Sugarfina, Rosie O'Neill and Josh Resnick. The couple is getting married and want a cake that embodies the look and feel of their sophisticated candy company, according to the description of the episode.
The first part of the challenge was to create an over-the-top cake topper. Kingman and Vicari created a topper using Isomalt to blow sugar into a balloon and create a glass-looking bowl, they also created a realistic looking bag and ribbon all out of edible ingredients.
"We wanted to get a lot of elements and get a lot of different skill sets and mediums into our topper," Vicari said.
And their decision worked out. One team was eliminated but Kingman and Vicari were able to move onto the second round when they had to make a wedding cake.
The four-tiered cake was simple and elegant in design and awarded them the win for the episode.
"I thought it was really, really fun and having the whole town have a camaraderie over our win is amazing to see," Kingman said.
