Holiday Walk Returns to Warren Next Month

The township's new Chamber of Commerce is meeting for the third time on Thursday morning.

The third meeting of Warren Township Chamber of Commerce, which just kicked off in September, is scheduled to be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Warren court room at 44 Mountain Blvd.

Chamber President Evan Tournquist is scheduled to further discuss the return of the Holiday Walk, planned for Dec. 8 in the center of the township.

The event will include live music, food, games and more, he said. The Holiday Walk had been previously held by the Warren Business Professionals Association, which no longer exists, but he said it has been a few years since it was celebrated.

Members of the new chamber also will continue networking opportunities, Tournquist said.

The Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce announced in September that the newest group under their umbrella, the Warren Township Chamber of Commerce, hosted 80 attendees at a kickoff meeting late in the month to officially establish the group.

The Thursday meeting is hosted by Fulton Bank, where Tournquist is branch manager.
