WARREN, NJ — Teresa Guidice of the Real Housewives Of New Jersey needed help to declutter her life so she turned to two Warren women who own So Chic Home Stylist.

Warren moms Rosa Gonçalves and Christina Mouro started the home staging and organization business two years ago and it has since taken off. Most recently they were asked by Guidice to stage her living room, office, bathroom and three closets to get the Towaco house television-ready prior to filming of the new season and also ready to sell.

"This was really huge for us," said Gonçalves, who has been working with a few real estate agents to stage homes in the past.

Gonçalves and Mouro focused their efforts on the massive 300- to 400 square-foot closet complete with an island in the center.

"She had everything such as shoes to clothes just thrown about," Gonçalves said. "We put everything back by style and color. And anything that still had tags on it we put to the front since she mentioned she wanted to know where it was so she didn't wear repeated clothing on show."

They also went through and organized the more than 100 pairs of shoes by colors and style.

In the middle of the closet Gonçalves noted Guidice had all of her jewelry strewn about on top. The Warren pair went through each piece and organized the drawers by silver, gold and brand names.

Gonçalves and Mouro began organizing in mid-January and it took about a week in total to sort through everything.

"To be honest I was nervous at first," Goncalves said of going to Guidice's home. "It was the first time we were serving such a high profile client and I didn’t know how it was going to be. I have to say after working with her, even just in one day, we loved her."

Goncalves noted how Guidice sat on the bathroom floor with her to sort through the thousands of pieces of makeup together.

"I never once felt like we were with a celebrity. She really is a down to earth, humble person," Goncalves said.

After it was completed Guidice thanked So Chic on her Instagram page for their hard work.

"Shout out to my favorite stagers and home organizers Rosa and Christina from @sochichome for getting my home tv ready, "Guidice posted on her Instagram page.

Since organizing Guidice's home, So Chic Home Stylist has been called to help out another housewife.

So Chic Home Stylist offers home staging, organizing and home occupied staging — if the seller is living in the home while on the market, the homeowner's belongings can be used to prepare the home for sale. Based in Warren So Chic services clients all over New Jersey.

Goncalves who had been in the interior design business for 20 years met Mouro after her husband refinished her hardwood floors. They found they both had sons named Evan in the middle school.

When Goncalves got laid off she was asked to help stage a home that was going on the market in Warren. Just for fun she shared the photos of the finished product on social media.

"A real estate agent reached out to me and our business took off from there," Goncalves said. "It was a blessing in disguise to be laid off."
