WARREN, NJ — Despite a projected closure at the end of the year, the Kings Food Market locations in Warren and Bernardsville remain open and could possibly stay open through February.

Acme Markets, Inc. is in the process of purchasing 19 Kings locations — this does not include the Warren and Bernardsville. As a result, the Warren and Bernardsville locations must find a new buyer or they will be permanently closed.

"The [Acme Markets] sale is still working through the process and the stores will continue to operate as normally until the sale closes. Current estimate is February," said Kim Yorio, spokeswoman for Kings.
