Warren Man, 24, Dies Following Tragic Skiing Accident
Edward Allen Chu loved sports and was a fan of the local sports teams especially the Yankees, Giants and the Devils.
WARREN, NJ — A community is mourning a young Warren man who died on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 from injuries sustained in a tragic skiing accident in Hunter, New York.
Edward Allen Chu, 24 was born in Jersey City and spent most of his life in Warren. Chu loved school and was very proud of his perfect attendance awards he received in 2006, 2009 and 2013, according to his Higgins Home for Funerals obituary.
He went through the Warren School system and graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School in 2013. He was also an Adam Ujeski Award winner for Special Achievement from the Warren Middle School in 2009. He later went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies from Seton Hall University in 2017.

Most recently he worked as a computer technician for Oneness E-services, LLC in Somerset.
An active member of the Rutgers Community Christian Church in Somerset, he helped in many of the Young Adult Fellowship programs, the Vacation Bible School Summer programs and the Special Needs programs.

Chu loved sports and was a fan of the local sports teams especially the Yankees, Giants and the Devils. He also had season tickets to his Seton Hall Pirates Basketball team.
He is survived by his parents Daniel and Sue Chu, his brothers Matthew and Winston, and his maternal grandmother.
