Warren Man Killed In New Brunswick Hit-And-Run

Authorities are searching for the sedan, which has front-end damage, involved in the fatal hit-and-run on Wednesday night.

WARREN, NJ — A Warren man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in New Brunswick on Wednesday night.

At around 8:39 p.m., David Wojcik, 55, of Warren Township was fatally hit in the area of Somerset Street and Millstone Road by a sedan, which was damaged on the front-end, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department said.

The car then fled the scene, police said.

Wojcik was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital on Wednesday night.

The investigation is active and is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Peter Maroon of the New Brunswick Police Department at 732-745-5005, or Detective Jonathan Berman of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-745- 4328.
