Warren Police, OEM To Host Food Drive For Needy Families

Donations can be dropped off at the collection box outside the Warren Police Department from May 14 to 23.

WARREN, NJ — The Warren Township Police and Warren Township Office of Emergency Management are hosting a food drive to support needy Somerset County families.

The items collected will be donated to 150 identified local families with k-12 children in Somerset County.

A collection box will be placed outside of the Warren Township Police Department at 44 Mountain Blvd. from May 14 to 23.

  • Cereal and Oatmeal
  • Produce
  • Granola Bars
  • Small Bags Chips/Pretzels
  • Pancake Mix and Syrup
  • Rice/Beans (<5 pound bags)
  • Cookies/Crackers
  • Canned Fruit/Cups
  • Flour/Sugar
  • Shelf Stable Milk, Juice
  • Dairy Products
  • Peanut Butter and Jelly
  • Spaghetti-O's, Ramen Noodles
  • Canned Tuna, Chicken, Beef
  • Coffee and Tea
  • Condiments (mayo, ketchup, mustard)
  • Salad Dressing
  • Baking Items/Mixes
  • Cooking Oil/Vinegar
  • Baby Food/Baby Wipes
  • Toilet Paper/Paper Towels/Napkins
  • Soap

They are also accepting gift cards to local grocery stores (such as ShopRite, Costco, Walmart, or Target).
