Warren Police Raise $5,200 For Autism Awareness

The police raised $2,600 in sales and the Warren Township PBA Local #235 matched the donation bringing the total to $5,200.

WARREN, NJ — The Warren Township Police Department raised more than $5,000 to benefit the Autism Healthcare Collaborative by selling special limited edition Autism patches and magnets.

The police raised $2,600 in sales and the Warren Township PBA Local #235 matched the donation bringing the total to $5,200.

"I tip my hat to the chief and his folks. What a wonderful effort," said Warren Mayor George Lazo at the last committee meeting.

"I am very proud of the PBA for conducting such a worthwhile fundraiser for Autism Awareness. This being our first one of this type, I was very happy with the amount raised and with the PBA for matching that amount for the Autism Healthcare Collaborative. We look forward to making this an annual event," said Warren Police Chief William Keane.
