WARREN, NJ — Soccer has been a passion for Warren Middle School student Daniel Scali since he was a young kid. Now he will be furthering his dream of one day playing professionally as he was selected to train with the Dutch Professional team PSV Eindhoven's youth academy in Holland.
Daniel, age 12, was chosen after participating in an Elite ID Camp with PSV Eindhoven at Soccer Centers in Somerset. There were around 75 high caliber players participating and Daniel was one of two to get selected, Daniel's father Rocco said.
He will be in the Netherlands from Oct. 19 to 27. Daniel "was ecstatic when he found out, he lives for soccer," Rocco said.
