Warren Summer Camp Canceled Due To Coronavirus

In place of the Summer Playground Program, a Virtual Summer Playground Program will be offered to residents.

WARREN, NJ — Warren's 2020 Summer Camp season is canceled due to the coronavirus, the township recreation department announced Wednesday.

"After careful consideration, keeping in mind the safety of all campers and staff, the Recreation Department with the support of the Township Committee has determined that the 2020 Summer Camp season will not be held. This has been a difficult decision as these are important programs to the Township and community," the recreation department stated.

In place of the Summer Playground Program, a Virtual Summer Playground Program will be offered to residents entering kindergarten through fifth grade in September. The camp is a four-week program that will run from July 6 to 30, Monday to Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. and the cost is $25 per child.
