3 Bears Spotted In Somerset County
Three black bears were spotted in Bridgewater, Warren and Hillsborough on Thursday
Warren, NJ - Three bears were spotted Thursday roaming around the Somerset County area.
The first bear was seen in Warren on Roberts Road, police reported at 1:08 p.m. on June, 16.
Another black bear was spotted in Bridgewater at the corner of Vosseller and Hillcrest Roads around 4 p.m. by Councilwoman Christine Rose.

"He meandered down Hillcrest, through two properties and then across the back of ours on Vosseller, perhaps headed for the park," Henderson wrote in a Bridgewater Facebook group. "The police have been notified."
A third bear was spotted in Hillsborough in the area of South Branch Road, Eyring Round around 5:20 p.m. Thursday.

Police continue to advise residents to use caution and to keep children and pets inside.
The sightings are not uncommon as there were two sightings reported in Woodbridge on Tuesday and Wednesday. Black bears were also seen in Scotch Plains on June 8; a second was spotted on June 9 and a baby black bear was seen in South Brunswick in late April.
