Another Bear Spotted Friday In Watchung

There have been four bear sightings in two days in Somerset County.

Watchung, NJ - Another bear has been spotted in the area on Friday, Watchung Police report.

A bear was spotted in the area of Valley Road and Bayberry Lane, police reported around 7 a.m. Friday, June 17.

"Please remember to be observant and report bear sightings to local authorities," police posted through Nixle.

Three bear sightings were also reported on Thursday across Somerset County including in Warren, Bridgewater and Hillsborough.

The Warren bear was seen on Roberts Road around 1 p.m. on Thursday.
