Box Truck, 3 Vehicles Collide In Serious Crash Off Route 22

Washington Avenue and some lanes on Route 22 were closed for most of the day in Green Brook. They have since reopened as of 3:15 p.m.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — A box truck and three other vehicles collided in a serious crash on Washington Avenue near Route 22 in Green Brook around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The crash appears to involve a box truck that was flipped over onto its side, a Dodge pickup truck, a Honda SUV and a silver sedan.

Green Brook Police and EMS were at the scene along with a medivac helicopter. One victim was taken by medivac to a nearby hospital, according to Green Brook Police Chief Samuel Caramela.
