Clothes, DVDs Stolen From Walmart, Police Say

An Irvington woman allegedly took almost $300 worth of merchandise from the Walmart at the Watchung Square Mall on Oct. 9.

India A. Bridges, 21, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after she took DVDs and clothing worth $289.90, according to a police report from the Watchung Police Department.

Bridges was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, according to the report.

The report said she was taken to headquarters for processing and then transported to the Somerset County Jail in lieu of $150 bail.
