Crime Stoppers Offering Reward Regarding Watchung Hit-And-Run
Authorities are looking for a 2010-2014 white Hyundai Sonata, possibly with front-end damage and a missing Hyundai emblem.
WATCHUNG, NJ — The Somerset County Crimes Stoppers is offering a maximum $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of who is responsible for a hit-and-run on Valley Road that injured a 12-year-old boy Oct. 8.
Authorities are looking for a 2010-2014 white Hyundai Sonata, possibly with front-end damage and a missing Hyundai logo, the Watchung Police Department said.
The child was crossing Valley Road when he was hit by a vehicle going westbound, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson previously said. The vehicle fled the scene. Police responded to the scene at about 6:55 p.m.

The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries, Robertson said. He was with several other juveniles who were not hit or injured.
