The Watchung PTO is delighted to announce plans for Dine & Delight, a COVID-complaint family-friendly evening, scheduled for Friday, March 12, 2021, to support the organization’s ongoing fundraising initiatives for district students and families attending Bayberry and Valley View Schools. Dinner Pick Up is at 4 PM at Bayberry School and the Zoom Magic Show begins at 5 PM.

The Dine & Delight event provides the Watchung community with a “magical” Friday evening out experience complete with a family-style dinner and interactive live Zoom Magic show to enjoy in the comforts of their home. The PTO has partnered with Ellery’s, a Neighborhood Pub and Grill in Middlesex, NJ, to cater a delicious customizable family-style dinner to satisfy everyone’s appetite. The ZOOM virtual magic show features Tricky Tim, a seasoned performer, who interacts live with kids and families alike. Dine & Delight is available to all in the community with a la carte options that include the dinner-to-go and Zoom magic show bundled together, a dinner-to-go package exclusively, or lastly, just the magic show option, To register and learn more, visit WatchungPTO.com.

Each family meal package catered by Ellery’s serves between 4 to 6 people and includes a salad selection, choice of two entrees served family-style including Meatloaf, Chicken Francaise, Chicken Parmigiana, Eggplant Rollatini, and Shrimp Scampi, vegetables, and homemade bread. Dessert is also available as an add-on with each package. Dinner for 4-6 people is available at $49.95 and dinner and dessert for 4-6 people are available at $52.95. For current Watchung PTO members, the Zoom magic show is free of charge and included with all dinner orders regardless of PTO membership. For non-PTO members and those not interested in purchasing a dinner-to-go, a zoom magic show ticket is available at $10.

Dinners will be packaged in reheatable containers and available for pick up on Friday, March 12th at Bayberry School located at 113 Bayberry Lane at 4:00 pm with the magic show to follow live via Zoom link at 5:00 pm. The Watchung-Parent Teacher Organization, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, continues to be creative with its family-friendly dining activities during COVID by organizing fundraising opportunities. These partnerships have been active since the summer, providing a social connection for residents, a boost to area restaurant businesses, as well as a PTO fundraiser for students and their families attending district schools, Bayberry and Valley View.
