Election Day 2019: Everything Watchung Needs To Know

WATCHUNG/GREEN BROOK, NJ — After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here in Watchung and Green Brook.

There are several local races in Watchung and Green Brook this year.

In Watchung, four people are vying for two seats on the borough council: Democrats Pietro "Pete" Martino and Wendy Robinson and Republicans George Sopko and Amber Murad.

Four people are running for three, three-year terms on the Board of Education: Nawaz Sheikh, Adam Kraft, Jennifer Scharf, and Joseph Barbella.

In Green Brook, Linda Bolton and Gerard Searfoss are vying for a seat on the township committee.

Janine Potter is the only person running for a three-year term on the Board of Education.
