Environmental Education Center Announces Upcoming Events
Check out some of the upcoming events for kids and families at the Environmental Education Center for the week of May 11 through May 17.

The Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center has announced a series of events for the week of May 11 through May 17. The Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road in Basking Ridge, has scheduled the following Naturalist-led programs for children and adults as the weather begins really warming up.
Children and parent/child programs
Story Hour – FREE PROGRAM Saturday, May 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Children ages infant to 5 with a parent will listen to a Naturalist read an environmental-based story and enjoy a short walk on the trails of the EEC.The program is free. Register online at the Somerset County Parks website or call 908-766-2489.
Blue “BOBO (Buy One – Bring One) Fridays” bins now are located at the Environmental Education Center and Lord Stirling Stable in Basking Ridge, as well as at the Somerset County Park Commission headquarters at North Branch Park in Bridgewater. The public is invited to drop off canned food or personal care items for donation to Somerset County food banks.
