First Responders Invited To Be A Part Of Stumpy's Hatchet House
Stumpy's is looking for first responders to donate bells to memorialize a spot in their "house" or "station" name at the new location.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — Stumpy's Hatchet House — a combination of food, drinks and hatchet throwing — is inviting local first responders to be apart of their new location in Green Brook.
Stumpy's is planning to open between May 1 and June 1 at 159 Route 22 East in what was formerly the Capitol Lighting building.
First responders are being asked to donate bells to memorialize a spot in the name of their "house" or "station" at the new location.

The location is "looking for several nice big bells for 'bulls-eye' ringers to hang high and proud on a few of our throwing pit head-end logs."
Bells should be approximately 10 inches or so in diameter and have a clapper.

Stumpy's will occupy approximately 8,100 square feet, which is about 75 percent of the Capital Lighting building, that will include 14 throwing pits. It will be on the side of the building closest to Capital Craft.
Demolition started March 12 and construction began on March 19.
Stumpy's offers patrons an opportunity to take turns hurling their hatchet at a target, honing in on their form and technique in a safe, controlled throwing pit.
When not throwing, friends can gather in the common area at large farm tables and comfy couches.
