Free Health Screenings, Evaluations At Senior Fair

The Senior Health Fair is open to all Central Jersey locals and will also offer an eyeglass collection and prescription medication take back

Bridgewater, NJ -- Free health screenings and evaluations will be offered by certified health practitioners at the Bridgewater Township Department of Human Services' Senior Health Fair.

The free event, a component of the Bridgewater Mayors Wellness Campaign, will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bridgewater Senior Citizens Center at 455 Somerville Road in Bridgewater.

Prominent participants are being added daily for the event and include the Center for Pain Management, Robert Wood Johnson - Somerset, Community Visiting Nurses Association, Care One Senior Living Community, Center for Vein Restoration, Natural Medicine and Rehabilitation, Cochlear Americas, Doctors Express, St. Peters University Hospital and Raritan Valley Audiology.

The Bridgewater Lions Club will offer an eye glass collection at the event through the “Recycle for Sight” Program.

The Somerset County Sheriff’s Department will also conduct a “Prescription Medication Take Back” collection program at the health fair.

At least 40 additional senior-oriented vendor exhibits and service displays will be available for review and network opportunity.

A free continental breakfast will be available throughout the program. The event will also feature door prizes and raffles courtesy of the exhibitors at the event. All individuals in the Central New Jersey area are welcome to attend.
