WATCHUNG/GREEN BROOK, NJ — Meet Ginger! She has been chosen as Watchung-Green Brook Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"This is our pride and joy Ginger, she was rescued 8 years ago when she was just a little girl, it was love at first sight for all of us. Ginger wears many hats as you can see, she loves playing dress-up and will cuddle with you all day if you have the time.

Ginger loves to run and play ball, but her most amazing quality is the way she loves to eat, she loves mommy’s cooking and she appreciates all you do for her, we love our Ginger girl and she loves us!!!"

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com. Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
