Green Brook Residents Have Power Back

The number of Somerset County residents without power has dropped since Wednesday including in Green Brook where power has been restored.

WATCHUNG/GREEN BROOK, NJ — The number of Somerset County residents without power has dropped since Wednesday morning including in Green Brook where all power has been restored.

The number dropped from 208 residents without power as of 8:45 a.m. to roughly 172 as of 3:45 p.m. after a severe thunderstorm ripped through the area on Tuesday night. Green Brook went from fewer than five without power to zero.

In Somerset County, PSE&G is reporting fewer than five customers are without power and JCP&L is reporting 172 customers are without power as of 3:45 p.m.

In New Jersey, JCP&L is reporting 35,906 without power and 652PSE&G customers state-wide.

Bernardsville reports the largest amount without power with 108 followed by Peapack and Gladstone with 31.

  • Peapack and Gladstone - 31
  • Warren - Fewer than 5
