On April 27, 2021, the Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education will hold a virtual public hearing at 7:00 pm on the 2021/2022 school budget and the proposed new employment contract for Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Jewett that will replace her current contract, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11 and N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-3.1(c)(1).  The proposed new contract will be posted on the District’s website on or about the time when the meeting agenda is posted.  The Board will seek community input before it votes that evening to approve the new contract.  The meeting will go immediately into executive session for the purpose of discussing confidential personnel matters and a student residency matter, after which action may be taken.  The public hearing portion of the meeting is expected to begin at approximately 7:30 pm.
