On July 2: At around 9:41 a.m. the Watchung Police responded to a residence on Devonshire Lane to investigate a report of harassment. Police are investigating.

On July 2: At around 12 p.m. the Watchung Police took a walk-in report of fraudulent use of checks and credit cards. Police are investigating.
On July 2: At around 3:03 p.m. the Watchung Police responded to a Walmart to investigate a report of a theft of mislaid personal property. Police are investigating.

On July 2: At 3:35 p.m. the Watchung Police responded to a residence on Anderson Road to investigate a report of lost personal property. police are investigating.
On July 3: At around 11:30 a.m. the Watchung Police arrested Rafael Ramos, 29, of Plainfield, for driving while intoxicated. Ramos was placed under arrest after failing a field sobriety test during a traffic stop on Route 22 East. He was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and released pending a Watchung Municipal court date.
On July 5: At around 6:42 p.m. the Watchung Police responded to Home Depot to investigate a report of shoplifting. Home Depot security said that two suspects (a man and woman) hid merchandise and exited the store without paying. Police are investigating.
