Watchung, NJ., May 11, 2020 — During these unprecedented times, we have become increasingly grateful for our local heroes. In honor of last week’s Teacher Appreciation Week and to commemorate a school year which will be completed virtually, Performance Rehabilitation & Regenerative Medicine is delivering year-end gifts to local teachers nominated by the community.
Since transitioning to online school in March, teachers across the state have had to roll up their sleeves and adapt to an entirely new teaching format. For many teachers, this not only includes daily zoom sessions with students, but navigating new work-from-home strategies, with many having to simultaneously care for their own children.

“We are truly grateful for our children’s teachers, now more than ever,” said Steve Sargent, COO at Performance. “We want to let these unspoken heroes know that we recognize all that they do and we appreciate the positive impact they have on our children’s lives, especially during these challenging times.”
In addition to year-end gifts, children of the Performance Staff produced a video to simply say thank you to teachers everywhere.
