Last Days of Deer Hunt This Week
Both Duke Island Park and Washington Valley Park will be closed for the deer hunt.
Bridgewater, NJ -- The last days of the Somerset County Park Commission’s deer hunt will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Duke Island Park will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 9 and trails in Washington Valley Park will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 10.
Shotgun hunting is what is permitted at the park and will take place from sunrise until a half hour after sunset, around 7 p.m.
