Local Youth Invited to 'Safe Night' Program Hosted by Somerset County

Somerset County invites students in grades seven to 12 to the "Spring Fling" at the Ted Blum 4-H Center.

Somerset County students between grades seven and 12 are invited to a “Spring Fling” at the Ted Blum 4-H Center in Bridgewater.

“Spring Fling” will take place on Saturday, April 11, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Ted Blum 4-H Center of Somerset County, located at 310 Milltown Rd. The event will be held in conjunction with the “Safe Night” program, which provides kids an evening focusing on having fun without the need for drugs and alcohol, and the fear that weapons might be brought in by students, according to a release from Somerset County.

“This is the 16th year Somerset County is hosting a ‘Safe Night’ program. The program brings youth from around the county together in a fun-filled, safe environment,” Freeholder Brian D. Levine said in the release. “It also provides an opportunity to share experiences and make new friends.”
