Man Accused Of Shoplifting Red Bull From Watchung Mall: Police
The man shoplifted Red Bull drinks and speakers from the Watchung Square Mall, police said.
WATCHUNG, NJ — A man was arrested and charged with shoplifting after he took Red Bull energy drinks and speakers from the Watchung Square Mall Saturday, police reported.
Howard Bryant, 49, of Plainfield was charged with shoplifting, said Chief Joseph Cina. The value of the merchandise was $182, the chief said.
While being arrested, Bryant complained of chest pain and told police he had snorted heroin, Cina said. The North Plainfield Rescue Squad assessed his condition at police headquarters and was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, the chief said.

Bryant also had a warrant out for his arrest by the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office, Cina said. He was later turned over to the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office pending transportation to the Somerset County Jail.
