Mexico Grill To Open Monday In Watchung

WATCHUNG, NJ — It's official. Mexico Grill will be opening on Monday in the Watchung Commons strip mall located off Route 22 East. It will replace the former Pancheros location.

Mexico Grill will serve as the second location for the owners of Grill Creations at 108 North Ave., in Garwood. The location will open Monday at 11 a.m.

Grill Creations serves an assortment of Mexican and Latin American favorites such as tacos, burritos, tostadas and carnitas.

Some of the signature meals include Beef Nacho Chimichanga made with yellow rice, ground beef, crispy tortilla chips, jack and cheddar cheeses and homemade roasted tomato sauce; White Sea made with sauteed salmon, shrimp and scallops, fresh garlic, onions, red and green peppers and white cream sauce plated over white jasmine rice.

Additionally, they offer catering, desserts and dips.
