No Surprises In Watchung Borough Council Primary 2021
There were only two Republican and two Democratic candidates running for the two seats open in the Watchung Borough Council Primary.

WATCHUNG, NJ — Republican candidates Christine Ead and Kurt Dahl, and Democratic candidates Daryl Eisenberg Knegten and John Malchowwon their party's nomination for the Borough Council Primary, according to unofficial results.
There are no surprises, as they were the only candidates running.
Ead and Dahl got 402 and 391 votes respectively and Knegten (the only incumbent)and Malchow got 263 and 261 votes respectively.

State Senate (Republican)

State Senate (Democrat)
- Joseph Signorello III: 1,638
29,303 ballots were cast in Somerset County, representing a voter turnout of 11.37 percent.
