"Meet Red and Gus Bush! Newly adopted members of our family here in Basking Ridge. They are around 5 years old and were abandoned on a farm in Pennsylvania.

They are bonded brothers who eat with each other [they SHARE the same bowl at the same time!], wash each other, and sleep together.

They are sweet, loving and playful boys and enjoy jumping and playing with catnip mice as well as watching the goings on outside. They are as good as they can be! "

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Watchung-Green Brook Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.
