Register for Spring Riding Lessons at Lord Stirling Stable

Online and walk-in registration begins later this month, according to the Somerset County Park Commission.

The Somerset County Park Commission announced registration for spring horseback riding lessons and other seasonal programs at Lord Stirling Stable will begin later this week.

Online and walk-in registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Lord Stirling Stable, located at 256 South Maple Ave. Class registrations will be accepted until 3:30 p.m. First time students are required to register in person.

Lessons are offered to children ages 9-17 and adults. All classes are one hour long and the 10-week spring session will begin on Monday, April 6.

According to the Somerset County Park Commission, the cost of the 10-week program for Somerset County residents is $300 for flat (non-jumping) classes and $450 for non-residents. The 5-week one-hour flat class program will cost $150 for Somerset County residents and $225 for non-county residents. Classes over fences are offered at $340 for county residents and $510 for out of county.

Payment is due at registration and is payable by cash, check or credit card.
