Multiple Roads Closed In Somerset County Due To Flooding

Breaking: Route 22 West has reopened in Green Brook after being closed for flooding Monday.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — Route 22 West has reopened on Monday after being closed for flooding in Green Brook.

Police announced the closure between Rock and Washington avenues at 8:20 a.m. It was reopened around 10:45 a.m.

In Bridgewater, Old York Road between Bridgewater and Branchburg is closed due to flooding.

In Warren, Mountain Avenue between Old Stirling Road and Stirling Road is closed due to flooding.

In Bound Brook, the ramp to 22 West is closed at Mountain Ave due to flooding, Bound Brook Police reported at 10 a.m. Monday.

In Bedminster, River Road West between Rattlesnake Bridge Road and Hunterdon County border is closed. River Road East between Matthews Drive and Cedar Ridge Road is also closed between Bunn Road and Cowperthwaite Road.

Hillsborough:

  • Sunnymead Road between Camplain Road and Weston Road
  • Blackpoint Road between Amwell Road and Branchburg
  • Three Bridges Road between Woodfern Road and Readington
  • Riverside Drive between River Road and Mill Lane

Montgomery:

  • County Highway 533 south of Dead Tree,
  • County Highway 605 closed south of Blue Spring,
  • Harlingen closed near Mont Park,
  • Mill Pond closed at Bridgepoint.,
  • County Route 605 (River Road) between Blue Spring Road and Rocky Hill,
  • Opossum Road closed south of Orchard.

"Do not drive through high water or around barricades," police announced.

Drivers should use an alternate route.
