Somerset County Freeholders Reorganization Meeting Will Be Livestreamed
Freeholder-elect Melonie Marano, former Green Brook mayor and committeewoman, will be among those being sworn in.

SOMERVILLE - The Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold its annual reorganization meeting at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, in the Historic Courthouse, located at 35 East Main St.

For the first time, the reorganization will be livestreamed and archived on the Somerset County website. The public can access it at www.co.somerset.nj.us/livestream.
Freeholder-elect Melonie Marano, former Green Brook mayor and committeewoman, and Sheriff-elect Darrin Russo, former Franklin Township Police Department lieutenant, will be among those being sworn in. Dignitaries planning to attend the reorganization include Gov. Phil Murphy, former Gov. Thomas Kean Sr. and U.S. Sen. Cory Booker.

Because capacity in the courtroom is limited to 185 people, overflow seating will available in the Freeholders Meeting Room where the reorganization will be livestreamed on two large monitors. The meeting room is located on the third floor of the county Administration Building at 20 Grove St.
Parking will be available on the street and in the Bernie Field Parking Deck, located adjacent to the county Administration Building, with an entrance off of High Street. The online mapping address is 68 East High Street, Somerville, NJ 08876.
