Wasu Wednesdays: Support Watchung Schools By Dining With Purpose

Every Wednesday evening, Wasu will donate a percentage from dinners ordered online, in person or over the phone to Watchung PTO.

The Watchung Parent Teacher Organization, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, continues to be creative with its family-friendly dining activities during COVID by organizing Dine-to-Donate fundraising opportunities with Watchung area restaurants. These partnerships have been actively utilized since the summer, providing a social connection for residents, a boost to area restaurant businesses, as well as a PTO fundraiser for students and their families
attending district schools, Bayberry, and Valley View.

Wasu, a Japanese and Sushi restaurant, located in the commercial triangle at 720 Somerset Street in Watchung, NJ, has partnered with the PTO to host “Wasu Wednesdays” running from November through the end of the year. Every Wednesday evening from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, Wasu will donate back a percentage from dinners ordered online, in-person, or over the phone when patrons mention the Watchung PTO. Orders can be placed in advance of dinner hours at ilovewasu.com for easy and timely pickup. Upcoming “WASU WEDNESDAYS” dates include November 18th, November 25th, and December 2nd, 16th, 23, and 30th.
