Warren Boy Scouts Celebrate Flag Day

The Watchung Hills Elks No. 22252 held a Flag Day ceremony Friday with a celebration of the United State. 

Boy Scout Troop No. 2228, under the leadership of Glen Guerin, carried in the flags as their history was read by Exhalted Ruler Bill Seavey.

The soloist that evening was Alyssa Puccio, who sang "The Star Spangled Banner." 

Speakers included Warren Township Police Chief Russ Leffert, Warren Township Rescue Squad Captain Paul Rapps, Washington Valley Fire Chief Mike Dalton and Warren Township Committee woman Carol Ann Garofola. 

Josh Guerin played "Taps" at the closing of the ceremony.
