Watchung 2019 Council Race Extremely Close
There were municipal and school board races in Watchung and Green Brook this year.

WATCHUNG/GREEN BROOK, NJ — Results are in for the 2019 Watchung and Green Brook municipal elections and the Watchung Borough Council race was extremely close.
Watchung
Four people ran for two seats on the Borough Council and four candidates ran for three, three year terms on the Board of Education.

Green Brook
In Green Brook, two people, Linda Bolton and Gerard Searfoss, ran for a seat on the Township Committee and one person, Janine Potter, ran uncontested for a spot on the Board of Education.

Searfoss, a Republican, received 888 votes to Bolton's 627. Potter received 977 votes.
