Watchung's Homesense, Sierra Announce Grand Opening Details

WATCHUNG, NJ — Homesense, a furniture and home decor store, and Sierra, an outdoor and active brands store, both announced grand opening details for their new locations in Watchung. The stores would be the first locations to open in Somerset County.

Homesense and Sierra will be opening in the brand new shopping center, The Shoppes at Watchung, off Route 22 East. The grand openings will be held on Aug. 22 at 8 a.m.

Both Homesense and Sierra operate under the umbrella of TJX Companies, which also owns TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods.

Sierra offers apparel, footwear, and gear for the whole family at 20 to 60 percent below full-price retailers both in stores and online, according to TJX.

Homesense offers an "expansive selection of high-quality home merchandise at amazing prices and in an experiential retail environment where customers can discover exciting finds for every room in the home," according to TJX.

Several other Homesense stores are also opening including a Parsippany location in August and a Princeton location in late fall.
