Woman Discovers $7,500 of Items Missing From Home Four Months Later
A $3,500 ring and $3,000 worth of clothing were last seen by their owner in August, she told police.
A Watchung woman reported $7,500 in clothing and jewelry was missing from her home.Â
The only problem was she placed the call to police on Dec. 9, and the last time she saw the missing items was back in August, almost four months earlier, the woman told Watchung Police.
Gone from the home was a ring, valued at $3,500, and jackets worth $3,000, the 47-year-old homeowner reported to police. Authorities said there were no signs of forced entry into the home.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
