Alexander Rd Phase 4 Resurfacing To Begin On May 11 In West Windsor

If travel restrictions are lifted by the Governor during the project, start time will be adjusted to 9am.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY-Alexander Rd Phase 4 Resurfacing to begin on or about Monday, May 11th, weather permitting.

On or about Monday, May 11, 2020 Meco, Inc. of Clarksburg, NJ will begin repair and resurfacing work on Alexander Road Phase 4, between Route 1 and Roszel Road, heading east (based on Rte 1 north). The work includes concrete repairs, crosswalk improvements, drainage improvements, and the milling and resurfacing of the roadway and Carnegie Center Drive jughandle. During the weekday hours of 7 AM until 4 PM, traffic in the east bound direction will be restricted to a minimum of one travel lane within the project area. If travel restrictions are lifted by the Governor during the project, start time will be adjusted to 9AM. There is also a potential for night paving, but that work will be announced separately, if and when conducted. Work is anticipated to be completed on or about June 4, 2020, weather permitting.
