Princeton Junction Rite Aid Becomes Walgreens

It is one of 90 Rite Aids nationwide that made the switch over to Walgreens.

PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ — The Rite Aid in Princeton Junction is changing over to Walgreens, and it’s not clear is closing the store is a possibility.

The Rite Aid at Windsor Plaza, 41 Princeton-Hightstown Road in Princeton Junction is among 90 Rite Aids statewide that will become Walgreens, just as Walgreens announced that it will be closing 200 stores in 2019, the company said in an August U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing. It has not revealed which stores will be closing.

The Princeton Junction store is already a Walgreens, and is open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
