Red Cross Blood Drive In Windsor Jan. 2

WINDSOR, NJ - An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held in Windsor during a period when donations typically drop. The blood drive will take place on Jan. 2, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sparkling Pool Services Inc., 92 North Main Street.

Now is an important time to give blood and platelets, according to the Red Cross. A seasonal decline in donations occurs from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day when donors get busy with family gatherings and travel. In addition, severe winter weather can cause blood drive cancellations and negatively affect the blood supply.
