Road Reopened, Power Restored In West Windsor: Police

There had been flooding and power outages as a result of remnants of Hurricane Florence on Tuesday.

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Flooding has subsided and power has been restoed after the remnants of Hurricane Florence created some problems in West Windsor on Tuesday.

Washington Road has reopened, West Windsor police said at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. It had been closed between Route 64 and Route 1 due to flooding. A Flash Flood Watch remained in effect until 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Power has also been restored to the more than 1,300 JCP&L customers who were without power on Tuesday. To keep track of the outages, view the electric company's outage map.
