WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Trees and wires are down on a majority of roads, and there are scattered power outages throughout West Windsor Township Monday evening. There are over 1,000 outages, including traffic lights, after severe storms hit the region Monday evening.

Washington Road is closed due to trees and wires down, police said. Alexander Road is closed from Route 1 to the Princeton Junction Train Station.

"Shelter in place as driving is hazardous and some wires are still live," West Windsor police said in an alert. "Both power companies are aware and have extended repair times. Please stay inside and stay safe."
