Traffic, Lights Restored Following Storm In West Windsor: Police

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ - Power has been restored to traffic lights on Old Trenton Road/Edin and Old Trenton/Village, West Windsor police said Monday morning.

A thunderstorm struck the region overnight, bringing heavy winds and a Tornado Watch for most of the state, including Mercer County. That watch has since expired.

Robbinsville Township had telephone poles down on Meadowbrook Road, police said in an early morning alert.

JCP&L is experiencing a major power outage. Just before 11 a.m., there were 100 outages in Mercer County, and just over 5,500 in Middlesex County, according to the electric company's outage map.
