West Windsor Named Top Town For NJ Families In New Rankings

WEST WINDSOR, NJ - West Windsor is among the best towns for families in New Jersey, according to a new ranking published by New Jersey Family Magazine.

The magazine looked at towns with more than 1,500 residents, and took into account several key factors, including average home sale price, crime rates, school performance, commute time, and diversity.

They then took that data to find the different rankings, including the best overall, best for commuters, and best large, mid-sized, and small towns.

West Windsor was ranked No. 6 in the entire state, and it topped the list of the best towns in Mercer County. West Windsor resident Andrea Sue Mandel spoke to the magazine about the township's cultural opportunities.

“Both kids and adults are always being exposed to all kinds of cultures,” the resident of 30 years said. The school system teaches languages like Chinese, Spanish, French and German, in addition to coming together for local programs like Community Day and National Night Out.
